Mauricio Gonzalez first grew his love for percussion at Sharyland High School. He went on to get world class percussion experience at 16 years old when he joined Crossmen in 2019 as a tenor drummer. He then joined the Boston Crusaders the following year where he became the tenor drum section leader in 2022, and he is preparing to spend another season with them in 2023.
